TOP PROSPECTS 2017

A top prospect list is the thing to do it seems.  MLB network works a list into just about every program they air this days and frankly it does get annoying after a while.  But the kids in our Phillies Org do deserve to get some recognition.

With that in mind here are 25 guys that present some intrigue for both the near and maybe 4-5 year future:

Forrest Gump made the famous "Box of chocolates" phrase about life and I think the same can be said for baseball prospects.

I do think this is the year where we will see more contributions from some young guys.  I think JP Crawford who kind of kicked off our rebuild and was the 16th player taken in the 2013 draft will be up in May or June to take over the SS position.

Roman Quinn also is a pretty good bet to see somewhere around 300-350 PA's as a platoon and defensive replacement type player to the two 1 year deals we have in LF and RF.
